The 2015 Brooklyn Eagles Literary Prize Fiction Longlist

The inaugural Brooklyn Eagles Literary Prize recognizes the best books of the past year and the authors who most embody Brooklyn’s ideals. The prizes were created by the Brooklyn Eagles, a community of young professionals and artists who volunteer their time and raise funds for the Library. Books on this list were nominated by Brooklyn bookstores and librarians, were published between June 1, 2014, and May 31, 2015, and are by authors who reflect Brooklyn’s spirit.
