Black Heritage Stamp Series

The Black Heritage Stamps series exhibit is provided courtesy of the private collection of Thomas Nichols, a Shrewsbury resident. The USPS issued the first Black Heritage Stamp in 1978, with Harriet Tubman as the inaugural subject, and today, it is the longest-running US stamp series.
