Baby/Toddler Storytime Week 7: Letter Knowledge / I Know Letters!

Knowing the letters of the alphabet is a natural precursor to reading. Understanding that they are different and have different sounds associated with them is also an important part of letter knowledge. Being able to differentiate shapes is another part of letter knowledge, too! This week we'll read books that focus on the alphabet and shapes. Having magnetic letters for the refrigerator or magnet board and foam letters and shapes for the bath are good ways to reinforce letter knowledge at home.
